It is my hope that this blog will serve as a way to build and strengthen the connections and communication with the Colby Swimming & Diving Family - alumni, current team members, parents -and also begin to build relationships with prospective student athletes interested in our program.
As we are in the midst of our season - a very successful one by the way- and as I have never designed a blog before, the development of this page will come in stages with a goal to be completely functional by the end of this academic year. Please be patient. We will have pictures, links to top times & meet results, links to team members activities on campus, recruit information, alumni updates, general team facts, etc. Along with a weekly update post on what the team is currently doing.
One of the other links that we will have will go to a forum. Inside this forum, there will be centers for current team members, alumni, and parents to communicate with each other. To gain access to this forum you will need to register via Ryan Adams '07 who has graciously agreed to serve as our administrator. To register on the blog you will need to use your full name and class year (FirstName, LastName & Class Year). Recruits, who have expressed a significant interest within our program, will also be given access to their own forum center. This access will be provided through the swimming and diving office.
It is important to remember that the purpose of the forum (and obviously the blog in general) is the building of the Colby Swimming and Diving community.
